ello All,

Wanted to give all of you a quick update that the current generation of Prius Plug-in Hybrid will cease production in June. We are hard at work developing the next generation Prius Plug-in Hybrid and we are looking forward to sharing more details with you as we approach our launch date.

You, and our dealers, are the first to know today.

Thanks for all of your continued support.

The problem is that delays with the next generation Prius have pushed the plug-in hybrid electric version well into 2016, perhaps not even until 2017!?

What does Toyota expect to do for the 14 months between then and now?
The 1,100 plug-in cars they have available nationwide won't suffice.
